Why I started Kookaburra Finance
I grew up watching my parents struggle with their mortgage. The bank gave them no explanation, no alternatives, and no support. They just signed what they were handed. Decades later, I became a mortgage broker because I wanted to be the person who makes that process fair, clear, and genuinely helpful.
Kookaburra Finance is based in Springfield Central because this is where our clients are: young families buying their first home, self-employed tradies trying to build wealth, and investors who want expert guidance rather than a product pitch.
Our philosophy is simple: explain every option in plain English, recommend only what serves your interests, and be responsive when you need us. The feedback we hear most from clients is that we answered their questions without making them feel stupid. That's the bar we set ourselves every day.
