What services we provide

We provide credit assistance as a mortgage broker. Our services include:

  • Assessing your financial situation and credit needs
  • Comparing home loan products from our lender panel
  • Recommending suitable loan products
  • Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of loan applications
  • Supporting you through the approval and settlement process

Our obligations

We are required by law to act in your best interests (Best Interests Duty — BID). This means we must prioritise your interests over our own or those of lenders when providing credit assistance. We must not recommend a product unless it is not unsuitable for you.

How we are remunerated

Upfront commission: We receive an upfront commission from the lender when your loan settles. This is typically 0.5–0.7% of the loan amount (including GST).

Trail commission: We receive an ongoing trail commission from the lender for the life of your loan, typically 0.1–0.2% per annum of the outstanding loan balance.

Clawback:If you repay or refinance your loan within 12–24 months of settlement, the lender may require us to repay all or part of our upfront commission. This is called a clawback and is at the lender's discretion.

We do not charge you a fee for our mortgage broking services in standard residential lending. For specialist or commercial lending, fees may apply — we will disclose these before proceeding.

Conflicts of interest

Different lenders pay different commission rates. We manage this conflict by following our Best Interests Duty obligations and selecting products based on suitability to you, not remuneration. We will disclose any material conflicts of interest to you at the time of our recommendation.

Lender panel

We have access to a panel of 60+ lenders. We do not have any ownership interests in any lender on our panel. A full list of lenders is available on request.
